Position Overview:

The Lead Specialist - SCM at our Mysore plant is a pivotal leadership role responsible for managing the complete stores, logistics, and supply chain activities, specifically focusing on producing high-quality automotive components for electric vehicles. This position demands a strategic leader who ensures operational excellence, enhances production efficiency and drives innovation in line with our strategic goals.


Skill Required:

 Proven ability to supervise multiple teams in logistics, stores, and purchasing.

 Minimum of 6 years of experience in supply chain management within the automotive or electronics manufacturing industries.

 Minimum 04 years of experience in strategic sourcing and handling.

 At least 2 years of leadership experience managing diverse teams in a high-stakes manufacturing environment.

 Strong leadership skills capable of motivating, inspiring, and developing a high-performance team culture.

 Exceptional strategic planning and execution skills, with expertise in developing and implementing efficient supply chain processes.

 Advanced proficiency with inventory management systems and supply chain software specific to the automotive industry.

 Excellent negotiation skills with experience in managing supplier contracts and enhancing supplier relationships.

 Outstanding organizational and problem-solving abilities, capable of handling multiple priorities and projects.

 Excellent communication skills for effective internal team communication and external relations.

 High adaptability to fast-paced and evolving industry conditions, with the ability to quickly adjust strategies and operations


Job Responsibility:

 Oversee material storage and inventory control, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

 Implement advanced inventory management systems to optimize stock levels and reduce costs.

 Manage logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of components.

 Develop and maintain efficient shipping processes that meet delivery performance and customer satisfaction goals.

 Build and sustain strong supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance for consistent supply.

 Analyze and improve supply chain operations to maximize efficiency and identify potential enhancements.

 Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, ensuring procurement of high-quality materials at competitive prices.

 Select suppliers who meet our stringent quality standards for electric vehicle components.

 Establish and enforce rigorous quality control standards across production and supply chain processes.

 Collaborate with product development teams to integrate quality controls from design through production.

 Lead a diverse team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

 Mentor & manage team dynamics, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities.


Education qualification:

Degree in Electronics engineering, Electrical engineering, Computer engineering, or Mechanical engineering.
