Introduction

In this position, you will be part of one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we provide specialized technical and industry knowledge to various public and private sector clients globally. These delivery centers offer clients local expertise to drive innovation and the adoption of new technologies.

The infrastructure supporting industries like transportation, energy, insurance, banking, and healthcare is rapidly evolving as technology becomes more integrated into our daily lives. Companies now have a range of options, from on-premise to off-premise and hybrid solutions. As an Infrastructure Specialist, your role involves staying up-to-date with these advancements and leveraging your skills to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Grit, determination, and a strong sense of ownership
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Proficiency in Python or a similar programming language

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps or a related field
  • Expertise in bash scripting, Kubernetes, Docker
  • Familiarity with Terraform and Azure cloud DevOps

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Knowledge of application and information security
  • Understanding of large-scale distributed systems, multi-tier architectures, application security, monitoring, and storage systems
  • Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar tools
