THE ROLE:
Are you a seasoned sales executive with a knack for consistently exceeding quotas? As a Customer Sales Director at Skillsoft, you’ll be at the forefront of selling cutting-edge enterprise learning solutions in the dynamic e-learning space. Supported by top-tier sales talent, training, and tools, you’ll thrive in a role that offers flexibility to work remotely or access our service office whenever you wish. On top of a competitive compensation package, you’ll enjoy generous commission accelerators from the moment you hit your targets. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Regional Sales, you’ll collaborate with expert Lead Generation Consultants and Marketing professionals, all working in cohesion to help you succeed.
OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS:
- Win new business and expand existing accounts for the world leader in e-learning solutions
- Leverage your prospecting skills to identify, qualify, and close deals
- Set face to face meetings with business leaders and decision makers including "C" level executives within our target marketplace
- Deliver compelling presentations that showcase and articulate the Skillsoft Value Proposition
- Drive a strong, continuous sales pipeline to ensure ongoing success
- Navigate and close complex, long-cycle sales processes with skill and confidence
- Master Skillsoft’s consultative, solution-based selling process to provide customized solutions to clients
- Apply solution and consultative sales skills to manage account cycles
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- A self-driven sales powerhouse with a passion for closing deals
- Minimum of 10-15 years of proven success in sales, with a strong track record of achieving/exceeding targets
- A formal understanding of and experience with Solution / Consultative Selling is required
- Ability and experience in handling average deal sizes of 200K and above
- Adept at engaging and influencing C-suite executives
- Must have the ability to prospect and manage a designated territory to maximize revenue growth
- Must have the ability to call high in an organization and interact with senior level corporate management
- Must have the ability to operate with a sense of urgency, be assertive, competitive, and demonstrate a positive, winning attitude
- Must have the ability to clearly articulate the company's offerings and develop solutions for customers and prospects
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Exceptional overall communication skills are a must
- Salesforce-savvy and proficient in digital business tools
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
- This role requires you to be based out of the specified location while having familiarity with local nuances and meet Customers/Prospects as required.
