Roles & Responsibilities :-


-    To provide technical support to the contract department for precise & timely submission of new offers.

-    If required assist the Contracts in negotiation. 

-    To plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.

-    Appoint the site in-charge & assist him to appoint field staff & subcontractors after getting the project confirmation.

-    Educate the Project team about the project.

-    Preparation of Quality Assurance Plan & Monitoring it through the project. 

-    Plan the frequency of site visit according to project size & location.

-    To assist site in-charge for preparation of Procurement and Execution bar chart for the project.

-    Preparation of budgetary fund flow. ( based on bar chart & invoicing payment terms )

-    Provide MONTHLY LOOK AHEAD for material requirement and other technical input to back office and Site Incharge.

-    Approval of Material Requisition after checking Quantity, Delivery Schedule, Technical specification etc & in coordination with the Manager (Purchase) & site In-charge.

-    Monitor Work Progress Report  

-    Conduct regular status meetings with project team.

-    Submit WPR (Work Progress Report) in Weekly meeting for Site Progress.

-    On time Invoicing of High Value Goods

-    Communicate all data i.e. any changes with respect to Bill of material, Scope of work to Project head.

-    Responsible for all the etiquettes of the site staff like office and site protocols, Uniformity in every paper work, Language, Filing System.

-    Develop a rapport with respective clients and Owners.

-    Responsible for client relation & repeat jobs.

-    Should Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.

-    To assist account to resolve issues related to unpaid invoices.

-    Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.

The job of the Technical Project Head also involves developing and maintaining cordial relationships with clients and team members. He should act as a link between both the parties. One also should have the ability to deal with problems that may arise within the project team or issues with the clients

On completion of the Project, the project Head should conduct a meeting with the team to evaluate the whole project and to discuss the results. Here, the project manager should identify the key factors that led to the completion of the project and also those that were not beneficial for the project, so that they can be avoided in the future.

Responsible to give Inputs, suggestions for future development of Company.

Developing new opportunity for the new projects.
