Job Summary:

An Electrical Engineer with experience in basic and detailed design and project coordination of Electrical works on Infrastructure, Energy, and M&M projects is required. The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of Electrical Systems and Physical design, principles, and practices of related technical areas and of coordinating with other technical disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs electrical discipline work which involves the preparation, interpretation, or review of calculations, specifications, electrical layout plans including lighting and grounding systems.
  • Participates in the design and development of electrical systems, including concept sketches and layouts.
  • Reviews design documents of equipment manufacturers or subcontractors of a moderate degree of complexity and prepares comments and recommendations.
  • Assists in the preparation of forecasts, quantity take-offs, and change orders.

Requirements:

  • A recognized bachelor's/master's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college or university with an overall experience of minimum 3 years.
  • Site experience will be an added advantage.

Preferred Skills:

  • Technical knowledge of engineering systems, engineering calculations, applications of engineering methods and construction methods and materials.
  • Experience of preparing technical specifications, datasheets, material requisitions, and vendor print reviews for various electrical equipment.
  • Knowledge of preparation of load list, MCC schedule, etc.
  • Experience in various electrical layouts like grounding, raceways, and lighting, etc.
