Location: Guwahati, Assam/ Remote

Duration: 4 months

Type: Paid Internship - Upto ₹10,000/month

Joining: Immediate

We are Aloi, India’s first dedicated homestay booking platform, showcasing the beauty and culture of North-east India. Our mission? Simple. We aim to help travellers discover authentic homestays, where they can immerse themselves in the charm, diversity, and cuisine of this incredible region. As we expand, our focus remains on uplifting local communities. Additionally, we are dedicated to promoting responsible tourism practices that safeguard the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Northeast India, ensuring it thrives for generations to come.


What You Will Be Doing:

  • Marketing Collaborator: Work with our founding team to develop and execute marketing strategies that elevate homestays to new heights.
  • Homestay Researcher: Dive into market research to help us find unique and high-quality homestays that meet our standards.
  • Relationship Builder: Assist in managing partnerships with homestay owners, ensuring they provide excellent experiences for our guests.
  • Tourism Analyst: Conduct research to keep us informed on the latest tourism trends in Northeast India.
  • Content Assistant: Support in managing content for our website and social media platforms.
  • Creative Contributor: Participate in brainstorming sessions to share your ideas and help shape the future of Aloi.
  • All-Around Support: Provide administrative assistance as needed.


What We Are Looking For:

  • Education: A Bachelor’s in Tourism Management, Hospitality, or any related field. Master’s will be an added advantage.
  • Passion: A love for all things tourism, especially for North-east India.
  • Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation abilities.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a working knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms.
  • Eager Learner: Adaptable, proactive, and always willing to dive into new challenges.
  • Team Player: Able to work independently as well as collaborate effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: You have a keen eye for accuracy and quality.


Bonus Points For:

  • Knowledge of digital marketing and social media management tools.
  • Basic design skills in Canva or similar software.
  • Knowledge of homestays and tourism-related activities in North-east India.
