Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop and Network Support Engineer to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for both desktop systems and network infrastructure. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, ensuring the smooth operation of network systems, and delivering excellent customer service to internal and external clients.


Key Responsibilities:

- Provide first-line technical support to end-users for desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues.

- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related problems.

- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, and related hardware/software.

- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory and other systems.

- Monitor and maintain the organization’s network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.

- Perform routine network maintenance and upgrades to ensure optimal performance.

- Respond to and resolve network connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi, LAN, and WAN problems.

- Assist with the deployment and configuration of network devices and servers.

- Document all support activities, solutions, and procedures in a ticketing system.

- Provide training and support to end-users on IT-related issues and best practices.

- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new technologies and improve existing systems. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to desktop and network support.


Eligibility: -

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA) are highly desirable.

Experience: 0-3 years of experience in desktop support, network administration, or a related role.

Skills: Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and experience with network infrastructure (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

Attributes: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
