Position Name: YouTube Specialist

Location: Mumbai

Employment Timing: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Channel Management: The person shall manage all YouTube Channels owned and/or operated by the Company and group Companies. This includes but is not limited to content strategy, SEO optimization, metadata enhancement, audience engagement, and compliance with YouTube Policies.

  • Platform Insights: The person shall provide regular insights into YouTube’s operations, including algorithm updates, emerging content trends, copyright rules, and monetization guidelines, ensuring the Company remains compliant with YouTube Policies and competitive in the digital content space.

  • Venue Monitoring and Optimization: The person shall monitor and analyze revenue generated from the Channels through YouTube’s Monetization Tools. Based on this analysis, the person shall suggest and implement strategies to optimize monetization and maximize revenue streams.

  • Training and Updates: The person shall regularly educate and update the Company’s team on YouTube best practices, new features, and platform changes. This includes guidance on effective use of Monetization Tools, metadata strategies, and audience engagement techniques.

  • Growth Opportunities: The person shall identify opportunities for channel growth and revenue maximization by leveraging an in-depth understanding of YouTube Operations. This includes recommendations for Content Calendar planning, targeted audience engagement, and the use of Third-Party Tools to improve performance metrics.

  • The person shall also:
  • a. Monitor and report on Audience Analytics, providing actionable insights to improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as watch time, subscriber growth, and engagement.
  • b. Offer Technical Support in resolving issues related to uploads, copyright claims, and other technical challenges associated with the YouTube platform.
  • c. Ensure adherence to YouTube Policies to avoid penalties, suspensions, or other adverse impacts on the Company’s YouTube Channels.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing or YouTube channel management.
  • In-depth knowledge of YouTube's platform features, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of video editing and production techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using YouTube Analytics and other relevant tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for video content and digital media.
