Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Accounts Manager to oversee and manage the company’s financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the accounting team, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions. The Senior Accounts Manager will also be instrumental in preparing financial statements, managing budgets, overseeing audits, and ensuring the company's financial health and stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and tax filings.
- Manage general accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, regulations, and corporate policies.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff and provide training as necessary.
- Review financial reports and identify areas for cost savings, operational improvements, and growth opportunities.
- Lead and manage internal and external audits, ensuring all financial information is accurate and transparent.
- Prepare and submit periodic reports to management, advising on financial performance, variances, and trends.
- Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes.
Requirements:
- Mandatory: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is required.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with Tally systems is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to manage a team and collaborate with other departments.
- High level of integrity and professional ethics.
