Role & Responsibilities:


Looking for a Senior Ecommerce Category Manager to manage medical devices. You will be the one responsible for the pricing and overall promotion of a product category to maximise consumer appeal. Relationships with vendors and marketplaces (Amazon/Flipkart) will also be key parts of your responsibilities.

Must have extensive experience in understanding ecommerce relationship management both demand & supply side. They must have a commercial mindset and full comprehension of marketing and sales principles. Exceptional communication skills are also keys.


  • Creating and developing a long-term plan and strategy for development of the category.
  • Develop strong working relationships with marketplaces, vendors and brands.
  • End to end management of product i.e. from supplier to customer.
  • P&L owner for the categories managed.
  • Team Management: manage a team of Ecommerce ops, Catalogue, and Vendor resources.
  • New brand acquisition and pricing strategy, managing product portfolio and inventory management. Shape long term portfolio expansion built on macro trends.
  • Vendor management: vendor sourcing & management, vendor relationship management.
  • Marketing: Manages and optimizes marketing spends on ecommerce. Working closely with digital marketing team to optimize spends across different digital channels.
  • Category Analytics: proficient in analytics to identify growth areas and execute


Skills & Experience:


  • 5-10 years Proven experience as a Category manager or similar role in E-commerce
  • Agile experience is preferred
  • Experience in e-commerce Category lifecycle management
  • Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods
