Java Linux Production support – L3 Support

Position Description

• Responsible for ensuring successful delivery of all offshore services for CGI’s customers.

• Provide L3 production support for clients which involves analysis, bug fixing etc

• Handle migration and patching activities for O/S servers, application servers,

middleware’s, DB servers etc

• Coordinate with onshore team and agencies for day to day activities

• Flexible to support on shift/weekends.

• Enhancements/Customization of the product based on client requirement

Primary Location should be Bangalore (open for Relocation)

Primary Skill:

Exp- 5 to 10yrs

Location- Bangalore

• Excellent Java Knowledge

• Excellent Linux Knowledge

• Medium exposure to SQL

• Leading a small team (Applicable for Senior Software Engineers)

Primary Soft Skill: Mandatory

• Professional good verbal and written communication skills (Mandatory)

• Logical reasoning and analytical skills.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Mandatory Skills:

Excellent Core Java Knowledge.

Good Linux/Unix knowledge

Good exposure in DB – Oracle.

Unix Scripting, ANT Script, Java Script, JSP, Servlets, HTML,CSS will be an added advantage.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to fix the issues in production with minimal turnaround time.
