Your Opportunity

The ESAB Project Enterprise – SAP S/4HANA Order to Cash Lead. You are a seasoned SAP Order to Cash (OTC) expert eager to shape the future of customer engagement and revenue flow and play a pivotal role in streamlining and optimizing our entire sales and cash collection processes. You'll leverage your deep understanding of S/4HANA features and best practices to drive process improvements, configure and implement the OTC solution, and ensure seamless integration with other enterprise systems. You will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and IT specialists to understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure successful implementation and integration of the OTC solution.

What you will do

  • Expert in SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution (SD) module: Possess in-depth knowledge of the OTC functionalities, including sales order management, credit management, delivery processing, invoicing, and revenue recognition.
  • Implementation and Optimization: Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of S/4HANA OTC solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
  • Business Process Expertise: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into optimal S/4HANA configurations and workflows. Conduct detailed business process analysis and gap analysis to understand current OTC landscape and identify areas for improvement. Analyze and understand business requirements related to sales, order management, delivery, billing, and revenue recognition.
  • Change Management: Guide and support users through the transition to the new system, providing training and ongoing support to ensure successful adoption.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and track the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues related to the OTC process.
  • Stay Current: Maintain strong knowledge of evolving SAP technologies and best practices through continuous learning and development.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand and document the O2C process flow across various SAP modules.
  • Performing gap analysis and defining business requirements for the O2C process
  • Design and implement S/4HANA OTC solutions that streamline sales order creation, credit management, pricing strategies, delivery processes, and revenue recognition.
  • Configure Fiori apps and workflows to improve user experience and process efficiency.
  • Collaborate with developers and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of OTC functionalities with other SAP modules and systems.
  • Develop and document detailed functional specifications for OTC processes and integrations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Logistics, IT) to define requirements, gather business inputs, and ensure smooth go-lives.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans for OTC functionality, including regression testing and user acceptance testing.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to users on new OTC functionalities and system changes.
  • Conduct user training and provide ongoing support to ensure user adoption and efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest S/4HANA innovations and best practices, suggesting continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze OTC performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Partner with other functional teams to ensure alignment of OTC processes with broader business objectives.
  • Document processes, configurations, and procedures for future reference and knowledge transfer.
  • Analyze existing O2C processes and identify opportunities for improvement in terms of efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Participating in system upgrades and migrations
  • Collaborating with IT and other teams to ensure integration and data integrity
  • Participate in O2C project teams, ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest SAP S/4HANA O2C features and updates.

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience as an SAP S/4HANA O2C Functional Consultant, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Minimum of 3 different implementation projects
  • Proven expertise in all phases of the Order to Cash cycle, including Sales & Distribution, Credit Management, and Revenue Accounting.
  • Proven experience in configuring SAP S/4HANA for O2C functionalities
  • Strong understanding of Fiori apps and UI5 development concepts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to process optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
