Primary responsibilities:


Category & Campaign Management:

• Create and execute category development plan & strategy in alignment with respective stakeholders i.e. Collection, Merchandising & Retail Ops teams

• Drive key category initiatives at national/regional level

• Drive flagship product identification and focus launch in key channels and stores

• Create and execute a 360-degree marketing plan inclusive of ATL, BTL, sponsorship, digital, influencer tie-ups, BTL, Retail, events, etc. in line with planned strategy and brand guidelines

• Lead the agency partners for effective campaign ideation, planning and execution

• Execute GTM program for key hero products along-with key peers

• Create multi-channel marketing plans and influence channel placement plans to maximize ROI from campaigns

• Drive & execute campaigns to boost brand visibility


Public Relations:

• To formulate and drive the PR strategy for Bata India business.

• Ensure highest SOV for products in magazines/lifestyle publications and maximum corporate exposure in business newspapers.

• Plan and deliver events calendar for all store activities and ensure maximum PR coverage.

• Network with both corporate and lifestyle editors and make Bata India an authority on footwear retailing in India.


Digital Marketing:

• Deliver the strategy for the Digital Marketing and drive brands presence in digital world.

• Propose and executive youth engagement promotions

• Devise & execute always-on strategy for priority brands


People Management:

• Motivation and retention of staff

• Career Planning for high potential employees within the organization

• Proactive succession planning for key roles within the Business


Budget Management:

• Analyze past performance and market trends to allocate funds across various marketing channels, campaigns, and initiatives & ensure budget allocations are optimized for maximum impact and ROI.

• Monitor and track marketing expenditures against the approved budget on an ongoing basis.


Ideal Profile (Skill Set):

  • Holds experience & expertise in Media Planning
  • Holds experience in leading Market Research
  • Has exposure to Performance Marketing
  • Has created Award winning Communication in previous organizations
  • Has handled end to end communication development
  • Has experience in managing a team (at least 5-6 members)Budget Management
