Fairfest Media, the organizer of TTF, OTM and BLTM is an established leader in travel trade shows in India, serving governments and businesses from over 100 countries.


Fairfest’s flagship travel event is OTM, which is well-recognised as India’s leading travel event and is the largest B2B travel show in the Asia-Pacific region.


We are now seeking to appoint experienced travel trade-show / travel industry sales persons for well-established and successful large scale trade-shows/exhibitions as well as exciting new launches.


The role is to ensure that revenue targets for show stand and sponsorship sales are achieved and exceeded where possible, through both personal sales and team sales efforts. The salesperson will also be expected to identify and close cross-selling opportunities.

The role will also offer extensive international and national travel.


Responsibilities:


  • Personally selling to existing and prospective exhibitors to hit and exceed sales targets
  • Attending events within India and abroad to identify prospective clients
  • Upselling and cross-selling sponsorship opportunities and other ancillary services
  • Nurturing and servicing client accounts
  • Recommend and implement agreed sales strategy.
  • Deliver agreed revenue targets by value and volume
  • Hosted Buyer and Trade Visitor recruitment (in the hundreds) from international markets


Requirements:


  • The candidate must have proven sales ability in travel/hospitality/exhibition/media space
  • Excellent client relationships and generating new business
  • Enthusiasm and commitment
  • Confident and target driven
  • Resourcefulness and an interest in understanding the sectors when seeking out new business
  • Potential to manage a portfolio of shows.
