Reports To: Head- Hyperlocal
Experience: 6-13 years
Job Summary: The Senior Manager - Hyperlocal will be responsible for overseeing and driving the strategy and execution of Hyperlocal operations within FNP. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills, strong analytical abilities, and a proven track record in managing local market operations and marketplace exposure. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our local presence, optimize delivery processes, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development and Execution:
Develop and implement Hyperlocal strategies to enhance market penetration and customer satisfaction.
Identify and analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to drive strategic initiatives.
Leverage marketplace platforms to expand reach and drive sales.
Operational Excellence:
Oversee daily operations of Hyperlocal teams, ensuring efficient and effective delivery processes.
Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operations.
Coordinate with logistics partners and local vendors to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of associates.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and customer-centricity.
Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
Performance Monitoring:
Set performance goals, monitor KPIs, and ensure targets are met or exceeded.
Conduct regular reviews and provide actionable insights to drive performance improvements.
Utilize data analytics to measure the effectiveness of Hyperlocal strategies.
Partnership and Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with local partners, vendors, and stakeholders.
Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to enhance local marketing efforts and customer engagement.
Develop and manage partnerships with marketplace platforms to maximize exposure and sales.
Budget Management:
Develop and manage budgets for Hyperlocal operations, ensuring cost-effective solutions and maximizing ROI.
Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising service quality.
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA will be preferred, not mandatory.
- 7+ years of experience in operations management, with at least 4 years in a Hyperlocal, marketplace or similar role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and scaling operations.
- Experience with marketplace platforms and enhancing marketplace exposure.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and worked on MTM.
