JOB DESCRIPTION


Conduct thermal /fluid analysis and optimize the design which can meet the given requirements, validate results with real-world data, interpret lab-based analysis, and present high-quality engineering reports to the design community, offering practical design suggestions using the CFD tools.


QUALIFICATION


M.Tech/M.E in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering/ Thermal Engineering or equivalent degree from reputed institute with 3 to 6 years of relevant experience on thermal design using CFD software for Automotive application.


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Use steady state / transient CFD solvers to simulate heat transfer processes related to in compressible and compressible flow systems in Automotive applications.
  • Ability to prepare CFD geometry independently using CAE Tools like Space Claim/ Pro-E.
  • Have to handle the thermal modelling concepts (In heat transfer - conduction, convection, radiation), meshing considerations for thermal simulations (e.g., element types, mesh density in critical heat transfer regions, adaptive mesh refinements etc).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate thermal /fluid solutions into overall product designs.
  • Strong understanding of Heat Transfer and Aerodynamics, Fluid dynamics fundamentals.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to model, simulate, and analyse complex fluid flow and heat transfer scenarios.
  • Should have keen interest in drafting & publishing an international journals & Patent Filing.


DESIRED SKILLS


  • Work experience in Electric Vehicle (Battery Side) platform is an added advantage.
  • Work experience in GT suite is added advantage.
  • Proficiency in CFD tools such as Ansys Fluent, Design Modeller, Space Claim.
