Role Description

We are looking for a Brand Planning Associate with 1-2 years of experience to own the process of creating pitches for new business development, devising brand strategies for clients, conceptualizing campaign ideas and plans, and coordinating with our content & creative teams to create great work that drives results. You will also be front-ending client engagements and owning delivery for strategic projects, requiring effective coordination with clients, colleagues and partners. Our ideal candidate is someone who loves the process of building brands (from research to execution) and possesses a strong sense of ownership that we and our clients can rely on.


This is an in-office role (5 days a week). Early applicants and immediate joiners will be given preference.


Responsibilities

  • Interact with clients to create campaign plans, source briefs, and deliver work on time
  • Conduct online research on the client’s business, sector, competition, and customers
  • Own the brand strategy creation process, comprising primary and secondary research, analysis, insights and recommendations on brand positioning, campaigns and initiatives
  • Collaborate with our leadership, content, and design teams to produce great work
  • Undertake content marketing initiatives to achieve business targets
  • Translate your understanding of a company/brand into high-quality content related to the brand – value proposition, journey, story, values, etc.
  • Coordinate with the digital marketing team to develop marketing strategies and plans, execute campaigns, analyze performance and create insightful reports with takeaways
  • Maintain project and deliverable trackers for multiple clients, to ensure timely delivery
  • Post content on our social media platforms to enhance our brand’s awareness, enhance brand affinity and connect with potential leads to grow the business
  • Stay up to date with branding & marketing trends, cultural and social developments, and customer research/trends that can help improve results


Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (in commerce, marketing, business management, or journalism & mass comm.); an MBA degree is preferable
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a marketing, branding or advertising agency in the areas of brand strategy, brand planning, account management, business development, content marketing, etc.
  • Strong marketing and communications mindset, with the ability to address business goals through strategic campaigns & initiatives
  • Highly skilled in making pitches and proposals to prospects and existing clients
  • Superior written and spoken communication skills in English
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent at multi-tasking, while ensuring that quality of output remains high
  • High-energy individual with a zeal to create impactful brand solutions for clients across industries
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS-Office Suite (Word, PPT, Excel)
  • Comfort using AI-enabled tools/models to enhance efficiency, productivity & accuracy
  • Excellent understanding of social media platforms (best practices, optimization techniques, etc.)
