Business Development Manager

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify New Opportunities: Research and identify new business prospects, strategic partnerships, and markets to expand the company's reach.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand the company's client base.
  • Lead Generation & Networking: Generate leads, initiate contact with prospective clients, and build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and present business proposals and product/service presentations to potential clients and partners.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, and provide insights to shape business development strategies.
  • Contract Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations and close business deals, ensuring a mutually beneficial outcome for both the client and the company.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with internal teams to align business development strategies with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Track sales performance, report on progress, and forecast potential growth opportunities to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Business Management or equivalent
  • 4+ years' prior industry related business development experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Focused and goal-oriented
