Job Description: Company Secretary and Compliance Officer

Location: Hyderabad


Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Company Secretary and Compliance Officer to join our team in Hyderabad. The role involves overseeing corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and ensuring adherence to legal requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of company law, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage compliance functions effectively.


Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact for all corporate governance matters within the organization.

• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and maintain records accordingly.

• Coordinate and convene board meetings, prepare agendas, and draft minutes of meetings.

• Assist in the filing of statutory returns and other legal documents with the relevant authorities.

• Monitor changes in relevant legislation and ensure timely implementation of regulatory updates.

• Manage communication with regulatory bodies, auditors, and legal advisors on compliance issues.

• Provide guidance and support to the management team on corporate governance best practices.


Qualifications:

• Qualified Company Secretary with a valid membership from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate governance and compliance roles.

• Sound knowledge of company law, corporate governance principles, and regulatory requirements.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with compliance management software is a plus.
