As part of the supply chain leadership team, you will ensure full compliance with customs and EXIM regulations, optimise logistics costs, and support seamless material flow to meet production and project timelines in a manufacturing/solar environment.🎯 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀: • 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 1. Plan, coordinate and manage all import activities for equipment, raw materials and components. 2. Handle documentation for Letters of Credit (LCs), advance payments and bank negotiations. 3. Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders and Customs House Agents (CHAs) for timely clearance. 4. Ensure compliance with Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), customs and EXIM policies. 5. Track shipments and proactively resolve clearance delays or discrepancies. 6. Negotiate with freight forwarders and shipping lines to secure optimal logistics costs. • 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 1. Manage export documentation including invoices, packing lists and shipping bills. 2. Coordinate with buyers, freight forwarders and CHAs for export of solar modules or equipment. 3. Ensure compliance with DGFT and export schemes documentation (e.g., EPCG). 4. Handle post-shipment documentation for export proceeds realisation and duty benefits (e.g., Remission of Duties and Taxes on Export Products (RoDTEP)). 5. Liaise with statutory authorities for export-related schemes and incentives. • 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 & 𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 1. Maintain current knowledge of EXIM policies, customs tariffs, trade agreements and regulatory guidelines. 2. Ensure adherence to import/export laws, including BIS and Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) guidelines relevant for solar equipment. 3. Prepare and maintain MIS reports relating to import/export status, costs and lead times. 4. Manage audits and ensure accurate record-keeping of all import/export transactions. • 𝗩𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗿 & 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 1. Collaborate with suppliers, logistics partners, banks, insurance providers and internal teams (procurement, finance, production). 2. Support procurement and finance in payment follow-ups, duty calculations and cost optimisation. 3.
