Job Description:

The Regional Manager – Secured Business Loans is responsible for managing and driving business growth within the designated region/state. This role focuses on achieving revenue and profitability targets, expanding the branch network, and developing strategies to capitalize on new market opportunities.


Key Responsibilities:

1.Business Management:

  • Manage and oversee the Secured Business Loans portfolio for the assigned region/state.
  • Guide and support Cluster and Area Managers to create and execute business plans for their areas.

2.Revenue & Profitability Targets:

  • Ensure overall monthly revenue targets for the region are met across all revenue streams, including processing fees, cross-sell, and yield.
  • Achieve profitability targets for all products within the region as per the approved matrix.
  • Maintain branch profitability, ensuring that fee income meets or exceeds branch costs as outlined in the branch scorecard.

3.Branch Network Expansion:

  • Lead branch network expansion initiatives by conducting network planning and identifying potential markets for growth.
  • Explore untapped markets, develop strategies for new revenue streams, and work with Business Heads to launch new products.

4.Sales and Distribution Strategy:

  • Formulate and implement the sales, distribution, and disbursement strategy for the region to drive business growth.
  • Conduct regular reviews of all cases in the region, including sales personal discussions (PD) to understand customer profiles and ensure appropriate sourcing.

5.Market Development:

  • Develop and implement strategies to explore and capture new market opportunities within the region.
  • Identify and generate revenue from untapped markets, launching new products as needed to achieve business objectives.
