S&S Power Switchgear Equipment Limited is involved in Design, Manufacture & Supply of High Voltage Disconnector, Control Panels and Medium Voltage Service & Spare part supply.

S&S Power is a growing SME in need of an experienced Regional Sales Engineer to help it expand its business further into Northern Region & Western Region, improve market share in domestic market and grow R3 Solutions (Retrofit) Division Business. Our company has been in business for last 48 years and specializes in a niche area of designing, manufacturing, supplying, and servicing high voltage disconnectors with access to emerging and developing markets.

This Regional Sales Engineer role has frontline Selling capability in HV equipment in substation project especially Disconnectors / Isolators and to co-ordinate with the Sales & Marketing and Proposal team operating from Chennai with the following scope of responsibility. 

Responsibilities:

·      Frontline Selling in HV equipment in Substation projects esp. Disconnectors /Isolators

·      Typically, responsible for managing and promoting the sales activities within their designated geographical region.

·      To achieve sales targets, develop relationships with new and existing clients, and increase market share.

Key Responsibilities:

1. *Sales Strategy Implementation*: Execute the strategic sales plan in alignment with the company's goals and objectives. Focus on penetrating new markets and improving sales within the region.

2. *Client Management*: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Understand client needs and offer solutions and support to achieve client satisfaction.

3. *Market Analysis*: Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs actively. Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans.

4. *Technical Support*: Provide technical information and explanations; prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customers.

5. *Team Coordination*: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and support teams to achieve business goals. Share market insights and strategies with the team to refine processes.

6. *Reporting*: Maintain and expand a database of prospects within the assigned territory. Report on regional sales results and forecast future sales.

7. *Deal Closure*: Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data. Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations.

Requirements:

1. *Education*: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, technology, business administration, or a related field.

2. *Experience*: Proven 4 -6 years of work experience as a sales engineer or in a similar role in the industry.

3. *Technical Skills*: Understanding of the technical aspects of products or services sold by the company.

4. *Communication Skills*: Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in regional languages can be an asset.

5. *Analytical Abilities*: Capability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

6. *Travel*: Willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned regions.

7. *Cultural Understanding*: Knowledge of and sensitivity to diverse cultures within the region, which might influence business practices and client interactions.

8. *Previous Employment*: In Any Switchgear Companies Background is preferable.

9. *CTC expected*: in the range of 10 lakhs + Variable Sales incentive.

10. *Family Background*: Bachelor / Married with family to support the travel.
