Position Title: Product Owner – Mobile App


Job Summary: Silicon Stack is looking for a seasoned Product Owner with 5+ years’ experience in end-to-end development of Mobile Applications and/or IOT solutions, Smart Home/IoT Connectivity business.  

The ideal candidate should possess a Product Mindset and approach the application development with Design- Engineering Thinking. Should always ensure innovation, quality, customer experience and user needs, while ensuring the application is aligned with business objectives. Have a no-compromise attitude for the benefit of Product outcomes and be able to manage, negotiate and collaborate with product managers, UX designers, business & category strategy teams and engineering departments. 

This role will prioritize feature development, manage backlogs, and play a critical part in the Agile process, acting as the key decision-maker during development sprints. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  1. Work with internal and external customers to analyse the needs and align the product roadmap to strategic goals.  
  2. Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies. 
  3. Work closely with product management and senior management to create a product that fits the company portfolio. 
  4. Research and analyse market, the users, and create the roadmap for the product. 
  5. Collaborate with Product Managers and Category Strategy teams to define product development requirements and ensure alignment with overall business goals. Take the lead of scrum teams as the Product Owner. 
  6. Solve product related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments. 
  7. Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities 
  8. Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals 

 

Mandatory Requirements: 

  1. Bachelors/Masters in EEE, Electronics & Communication, Computer Science or IT. 
  2. PSPO, CSPO or equivalent Product Owner Certification. 
  3. Must have been a product owner of end-to-end mobile application development cycle. 
  4. Experience in IoT (or) Smart Homes (or) Connected Devices is a must. 

 

Note: The candidate should be energetic and have a high degree of ownership and problem-solving capability.
