Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive growth in our IT staffing division. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in building client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the IT staffing market.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients through networking, cold calling, and other lead-generation activities.
- Relationship Management:
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted advisor to understand clients’ IT staffing needs and provide customized staffing solutions.
- Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities in the IT staffing industry.
- Present actionable insights to senior management to guide business strategies.
- Sales Strategy:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Collaboration:
- Partner with recruitment teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of client staffing needs.
- Work with marketing teams to design campaigns aimed at generating leads and boosting brand visibility.
- Reporting and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM tools.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance and pipeline status.
Qualifications and Skills
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. (MBA preferred).
- Professional Experience:
- 3-7 years of experience in business development or sales in IT staffing or a related industry.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of IT staffing solutions, technologies, and workforce trends.
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Additional Attributes:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic setting.
Familiarity with IT technical terminologies and hiring processes is a plus
