Job brief- Inside Sales Manager
We are looking for a talented and competitive Inside Sales Manager to lead and support our Inside Sales Representative team
The Inside Sales Manager will monitor sales metrics and manage the entire Inside Sales administration process. They will collaborate with various teams like Sales, Marketing, Engineering etc so it’s essential that they have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable working in a team environment. They should also be able to lead and motivate the Inside sales team to achieve specific goals. He/ She will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. Apart from managing the team, you must also be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working on tools like LinkedIn, Mr.E, generating interest, qualifying prospects and helping generate Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).
The Inside Sales Manager would have a dual role- he/ she should be able to build a high-performance Inside sales team and also should be able to generate Leads and help with Customer acquisition.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of inside sales representatives to achieve sales targets, revenue growth, and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Develop sales strategies and tactics to increase sales and improve customer engagement
- Set, track & achieve sales targets for your team
- Suggest and implement improvements in the inside sales administration process
- Analyze sales performance data, develop actionable insights, and implement initiatives that drive continued sales growth.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
- Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement
- Coach and develop team members, delivering ongoing training and development programs to improve sales skills and overall performance
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls, LinkedIn and emails
- Understand customer needs and requirements and convince them of Gnani’s value proposition
- Route Sales Qualified Leads (SQL) to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
- Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas for smaller opportunities
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects
- Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
- Perform effective online demos to prospects.
- Attend & participate in Industry events, trade shows etc to meet prospects and potential customers
Requirements and skills
- Proven work experience as an Inside sales manager for at least 2 years
- Hands on experience with Zoho CRM or similar
- Excellent interpersonal and team management skills
- In-depth understanding of the inside sales administration process
- Working in a SAAS or similar technology organization is a must.
- Experience in dealing with large and mid size Enterprise customers in India
- SAAS, Contact centre Technical skills & Clear grasp of AI & ML technologies and the ability to envision solutions is desirable.
- Should have sufficient Track record of over-achieving quota
- Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls, emails & LinkedIn reach outs per day
- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- BA/BS/ MBA degree or equivalent
