Key accountabilities:
As a Data Engineer you will be accountable for:
- operational needs by collaborating with specialized teams
- key AXA business operations. This involves architecture designing, building and deploying data systems, pipelines etc
- and support scalable and cost efficiency solution using multiple data services.
Technical and professional skills:
- are looking for a flexible, fast learning, technically strong Data Engineer. Expertise is required in the following fields:
- in Cloud Services –Azure
- on analysing data pipelines utilizing Azure data stack capabilities
- coordination with Command Centre which performs BAU monitoring and L1 Support
- dive of failed pipelines to formulate root cause analysis, L2/L3 support
- with Development team on analysis of incidents
- of long running data pipelines and propose optimization opportunities
- logics to formulate and debug datasets using PySpark, Spark Scala and Spark SQL
- process and automation of workflow
- and utilize SOP documents
- prioritization as per ticket severity
- Complex Notebook in Databricks to achieve business Transformations.
- with building dataset using Scala.
- Understanding with tools such as ServiceNow, ControlM
- communication and interpersonal skills
Soft skills and competencies:
- communication skills to coordinate between business stakeholders & engineers
- results-orientation and time management
- team player who is comfortable working in a global team
- to establish relationships with stakeholders quickly in order to collaborate on use cases
- working in a multidisciplinary team within a fast-paced environment
Background and experience:
- degree in computer science or related field
- 8-10 Years of experience in Cloud Data Engineering.
