In the Operational Excellence & Process Improvement role at Zyeta, you will be responsible for business strategy and management approach focused on continuously improving and optimizing an organization's operations and processes to achieve superior performance and efficiency. The goal of operational process excellence is to enhance customer experience and enhancing revenue per person, reduce waste, and drive sustainable growth.


Responsibilities:


Continuous Improvement:

  • Emphasizing a culture of continuous improvement where we identify and address inefficiencies and bottlenecks in processes. Using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Total Quality Management (TQM).


Project Planning Excellence:

  • Lead the charge in crafting comprehensive project plans, ensuring every detail aligns with the design.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish project scope, objectives, and deliverables.


Resource Allocation and Oversight:

  • Coordinate and allocate resources judiciously, keeping a vigilant eye on personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Ensure that resources are optimally utilized to propel projects forward.


Risk Management Savvy:

  • Identify and assess project risks with precision and develop robust mitigation strategies.
  • Continuously monitor and manage risks throughout the design and build phases.


Stakeholder Communication Proficiency:

  • Cultivate effective communication channels among project teams, stakeholders, and senior management.
  • Champion the alignment of project goals with client expectations and organizational objectives.


Customer-Centricity:

  • Placing the customer at the center of all operational activities and striving to meet or exceed customer expectations. This includes understanding customer needs, gathering feedback, and adapting processes accordingly.


Project Monitoring and Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Leveraging data and analytics to make informed decisions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Establish and maintain project tracking systems, utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) as guiding beacons.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management, ensuring transparency and accountability.


Process Optimization Initiative:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the design and build phases.
  • Implement best practices and standardize project management processes for enhanced efficiency.


Automation and Technology:

  • Utilizing technology and automation tools to streamline and optimize processes, reduce manual work, and enhance efficiency.


Budget Oversight and Efficiency:

  • Keep a watchful eye on project expenditures to ensure fiscal discipline.
  • Seek opportunities for cost-saving and efficiency enhancements to maximize value.


What We Expect:

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field (Master's degree a plus).
  • Project management certification (PMP,) is advantageous.
  • SCRUM Master certification is preferred, if not should be willing to take it up.
  • Proven track record in project management, particularly within the realm of design and build.
  • Strong command of project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project).
  • Exceptional analytical skills, problem-solving acumen, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • A leadership mindset and the ability to foster collaboration within project teams.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, organizational finesse, and a passion for continuous improvement.
