Ashiraj Overseas Education Consultants is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Education Counselor to join our team. The Senior Education Counselor will be responsible for providing comprehensive guidance and counseling to students aspiring to pursue higher education abroad. This role requires a deep understanding of international education systems, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for helping students achieve their academic and career goals.


Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct individual counseling sessions with students to assess their educational background, interests, and career aspirations.
  2. Provide personalized guidance and advice on suitable study abroad destinations, universities, courses, and scholarship opportunities based on students' profiles and preferences.
  3. Assist students in the application process, including documentation, application forms, and visa requirements for various countries.
  4. Coordinate with international universities and educational institutions to obtain accurate and up-to-date information on admissions, programs, and admission requirements.
  5. Organize and conduct informational seminars, workshops, and events to educate students and parents about study abroad options, admission procedures, and relevant topics.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with educational partners, including universities, colleges, language schools, and government agencies, to facilitate student placements and collaborations.
  7. Stay informed about trends and developments in international education, immigration policies, and visa regulations to provide accurate and timely information to students.
  8. Assist in marketing and promotional activities to attract prospective students and promote Ashiraj Overseas Education Consultants' services.
  9. Mentor and provide guidance to junior education counselors, interns, and support staff as needed.
  10. Maintain accurate records of student interactions, counseling sessions, and application statuses in the CRM system.


Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, International Relations, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in education counseling, preferably in the field of international education consultancy.
  3. In-depth knowledge of international education systems, study abroad destinations, universities, and academic programs.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and educational partners.
  5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  7. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Passion for helping students achieve their academic and career goals through study abroad opportunities.
  9. Fluency in English is required. Additional proficiency in other languages is a plus.
