G) Job Overview:

  • The OEM Domestic Sales Head is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth for the company's OEM business within the domestic market. This role involves managing a team of sales professionals, establishing strong relationships with OEM customers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.

H) Key Responsibilities:

a) Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets within the domestic OEM market.
  • Identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales strategies accordingly.
  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to assess effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.

b) Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key OEM customers.
  • Understand customer requirements, anticipate needs, and proactively address concerns.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.

c) Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the company's OEM business within the domestic market.
  • Develop new accounts and cultivate existing ones to maximize sales growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to tailor offerings to customer needs and market demand.

d) Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, product development, operations, and finance to ensure alignment of sales activities with overall business goals.
  • Provide input into product development based on customer feedback and market trends.
  • Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services.

e) Sales Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Monitor sales performance against targets and KPIs.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.

H. Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in OEM sales, preferably in the domestic market, and preferably in Consumer Durables industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to develop and execute sales plans.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.

I. Experience:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in OEM sales, particularly within the domestic market, is highly desirable.
