As Account Manager you will oversee our key accounts in the assigned territory. You will manage some of our major metal sector accounts, develop new business by driving cross-selling and customer satisfaction initiatives in this sector and others. A key role to move forward with our strategic growth plan.
What will you do?
- Maintain and develop existing accounts by promoting ways of improving contribution, share of wallet and reducing costs
- Identify and pursue potential new and existing business opportunities
- Introduces new products and cost reduction programs to aid customer processes – Share of Wallet
- Work alongside the rest of the Commercial Team to meet customer and NewCo expectations and objectives.
- Identify prospects and assess product needs whilst supporting product development and research ideas
- Sales and Pricing (when applicable) negotiations with to keep margins at desired levels Including price rises and cash collection
- Manage and maintain updated CRM pipeline, prospects, account plans etc.
- Responsible for managing a Technical Service Specialist colleague.

What are we looking for?
- Chemistry, Production or relevant engineering degree (desirable)
- A minimum of 3 years of technical sales experience in a related industry Metalworking, Metals, etc.
- Results Driven – Overcomes obstacles and finds resources to get things done
- Analytical & Problem Solver – Identifies problems and uses available resources to identify a solution
- Innovation – Is open to new ways of doing things
- Customer Focus – Dedicated to meeting customer expectations and requirements
- Acts with Integrity – Can be counted on to follow through with commitments
- Proficient in English (written & spoken) (desirable)
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office (Outlook, excel, PowerPoint),
