Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Automation QA Engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. This role involves working closely with our development and product teams to understand requirements, design, and create automated test solutions, and ensure the quality of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
  • Perform API testing using Postman and Rest Assured.
  • Conduct thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and robust execution of testing activities.
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
  • Perform functional manual testing to ensure the quality of the product.
  • Work in an Agile environment and participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
  • Provide accurate and timely status updates and quality metrics to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Automation QA roles.
  • Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver for automation testing.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in API testing with Postman and Rest Assured.
  • Hands-on experience with functional manual testing.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
