Candor Textiles is a manufacturing and exporting Company with a solid foundation with 500+ employees looking to scale rapidly.

Currently, the HR function operates under the guidance and involvement of the organization's Director. We are seeking an HR Head who can independently lead the function.

As the Head of HR, you will be responsible for creating, implementing, and overseeing a comprehensive HR strategy that aligns with the organization's long-term goals. This includes driving the design and execution of organizational structures, performance management, including the design and implementation of reward schemes, KPI monitoring, and ensuring organizational objectives and key results (OKRs) are met.

You will be tasked, overseeing key human capital initiatives, and ensuring that we attract, retain, and nurture top talent and developing strategies for scaling our workforce effectively as the company grows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organizational Structure & Design: Work closely with senior leadership to determine business needs and translate them into a future-ready organizational structure. Drive the recruitment strategy, ensuring talent pipelines are robust to meet future business demands.
  • Performance Management- KPIs and OKRs: Design and implement performance management processes to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives. Work with department heads to identify and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) for individual and team performance. Set measurable OKRs that align with business goals and evaluate their execution on a quarterly/annual basis. Facilitate performance reviews, Monitor and report on KPIs and OKRs, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Talent Development & Succession Planning: Create and execute talent development programs to nurture internal talent for leadership and specialist roles. Develop succession plans for key positions to ensure continuity in critical roles. Oversee the learning and development function to ensure ongoing employee skill enhancement.
  • Reward & Recognition Programs: Develop and implement compensation and benefits strategies that attract and retain top talent. Design reward and recognition programs to drive motivation and performance across the organization. Benchmark industry standards to ensure competitive and equitable reward schemes.
  • Employee Engagement & Retention: Drive initiatives to foster a positive work culture, ensuring high levels of employee satisfaction and engagement. Analyze employee feedback, engagement surveys, and exit interviews to identify areas of improvement.
  • Recruitment and Training of Blue Collar: Drive recruitment activities for blue-collar employees and facilitate. Facilitate training for skill enhancement and internal promotions.
  •  Administrative and Time office: Lead the administration and time office team, who will be responsible for Vehicles, Canteen & Guest Management, Employee Salary Inputs, Accidental Claim handling, Employee Grievance management.
  •  Management of Staff and Worker Colony: Design SOP and Policies for the upcoming Staff and workers Colony and ensure that all aspects of the colony's administration, maintenance, safety, welfare, and services meet the organizational standards.
  • Compliance, Legal and Audits: Ensure HR policies and practices comply with local labor laws and organizational regulations. Driving compliance and fulfilment of all audit checkpoints (GOTS, GRS, ISO 9001, 14001, 45000, SMETA 4 Pillar, FCCA, FSC, REACH) conducted on factory premises by proactive coordination.

Qualification and skills:

Degree in human resources or related field

Experience of 15-18 years with at least 5 years in HR leadership role in a high-growth or scaling organizations, with background in organizational design, performance management, and reward systems.

Ability to influence senior leadership and drive change at all levels of the organization.

Deep understanding of HR compliance and labor laws.
