Job Purpose:

Responsible for the front-end production of data solutions used to drive business value, with a strong emphasis on Finance Reporting and Product Reporting. The Analytics Specialist III will consolidate data and provide value-add reporting and analysis, specifically focusing on financial metrics and product performance insights. This role will be a critical part of the A&I team by delivering strategic solutions to internal and external customers via Dashboarding/Reporting. The Analytics Specialist III will support teams and management by collecting data, analyzing financial and product structures, and publishing and maintaining dashboards and/or reports for end users.


Essential Functions:

  • 5+ Years working knowledge with PowerBI (Preferred) or Tableau -- Required
  • 3+ Years working knowledge with AWS -- Required
  • 6+ Years' experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or later -- Required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills - Required
  • Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills -- Required
  • Excellent attention to detail -- Required
  • Experience and demonstrated competency with data visualization -- Required
  • Experience with Visual Studio, SSRS, Paginated Reports -- Required
  • Proficiency in AWS services such as AWS Glue, Athena, and QuickSight, Redshift -- Preferred
  • Proficiency in data modeling and database design to create efficient and scalable data structures for reporting purposes. - Required
  • Expertise in creating mobile-friendly and interactive reports and dashboards, ensuring accessibility and ease of use across devices. - Required
  • Familiarity with AWS Lambda for creating serverless functions that process, transform, and analyze data on-demand, supporting real-time reporting requirements. - Required
  • Strong understanding of data mesh principles, including domain-oriented ownership, self-serve data infrastructure, and product thinking for data, to effectively collaborate with domain teams and facilitate decentralized data access and reporting. -- Required
  • Experience with cloud-based BI tools and platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Required (Certifications a plus)
  • Proficient with Excel, Word, and Office365 - Required
  • ServiceNow and/or Salesforce Experience- Preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to complete projects and achieve results within the timelines and commitments set forth - Required
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills -- Required
  • Experience in delivering effectively in a remote or hybrid capacity - Required
  • Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark, enabling the processing and analysis of large datasets. -- Preferred
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB or Cassandra, to handle unstructured data. - Preferred
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including star schema, snowflake schema, and ETL processes. - Preferred
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies to ensure smooth, efficient project execution and deliver faster value to the Business. - Required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of UX/UI design principles and best practices to create visually appealing and user-friendly reports. - Required
  • Proficiency in using version control systems, such as Git, to manage and track changes in report designs and data processes. - Preferred
  • Strong understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics relevant to various industries and business domains. - Required
  • Demonstrated ability to translate written and/or verbal business requirements into data assets -- Required
  • Demonstrated ability to work with ambiguous or incomplete requirements and clarify as necessary -- Preferred
  • MySQL working knowledge - Preferred
  • Working Knowledge of Python -- Preferred
  • Experience with advanced analytics techniques, including machine learning and predictive modeling. - Preferred
  • Familiarity with data quality management and data governance best practices to ensure data integrity. - Preferred
  • Experience with real-time analytics and stream processing frameworks, such as Kafka or Apache Flink, for up-to-date reporting. - Preferred
  • Familiarity with geospatial analysis tools, such as QGIS or ArcGIS, to incorporate location-based insights into product reports. - Preferred
  • Experience with A/B testing and multivariate analysis to evaluate and optimize the performance of product features and campaigns. - Preferred

Education:

  • Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate - Preferred
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals - Preferred

Experience:

  • 7-10 Years

Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven track record leading teams to deliver on complex technical problems for internal and external customers.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex analytical solutions to external customers.
  • 15+ years in enterprise analytics with experience across Finance, Sales, Operations and Marketing.
  • 15+ years in corporate analytics (Analyst/Engineer/Data Architect) -- Required
  • 10+ years of experience building enterprise data processes.
  • 10+ years of experience in requirements gathering, design, implementation, QA and delivery of enterprise data solutions.
  • 10+ years gathering and synthesizing business requirements into information assets - Required
  • 10+ years with Enterprise Business Intelligence Tools -- Required
  • 10+ years in technology/professional service sales organization performing analytics - Required

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

The work is primarily performed in an office or remote environment.
