Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Governance Specialist to join our team at Tiger Analytics. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing our digital estate, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and implementing effective cybersecurity controls.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity governance, with at least 8 years of experience, including 5 years in managing cybersecurity control effectiveness in technology infrastructure and application domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing the effectiveness of cybersecurity controls implemented via assessments and audits
  • Analysing and correlating information security events to identify appropriate event handling actions
  • Proposing cybersecurity process improvements and implementing new technologies
  • Monitoring SOC activities and taking action on identified incidents
  • Collaborating with development teams to ensure adoption of Secure SDLC best practices
  • Participating in client, internal, and external audits

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience in cybersecurity governance, with at least 5 years in managing cybersecurity control effectiveness
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, including firewalls, EDR/XDR/MDR, DLP, and SIEM
  • Proficiency in defining and implementing security best practices and guidelines throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Familiarity with information security standards and best practices, such as ISO 27001 and NIST
  • Good understanding of OWASP Top 10 and experience in implementing remediation strategies
