Job Description (JD) - Project Engineer (Grade 4) in CybersecurityPosition

Experience - 3-4 yrs only ( Not less than this experience will be considered )


Job Summary

:As a Grade 4 Project Engineer in Cybersecurity, you will lead the implementation of technical cybersecurity solutions, provide support in the planning and execution of complex security projects, and manage junior engineers. You will be responsible for ensuring that project deliverables meet technical requirements, timelines, and cybersecurity standards. You will also assist in the identification of risks and the development of mitigation strategies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of cybersecurity systems.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity protocols, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Manage and mentor junior engineers in project execution.
  • Perform risk assessments and implement appropriate cybersecurity measures.
  • Ensure project deliverables are aligned with both client and internal security policies.
  • Communicate project progress, technical issues, and risks to stakeholders.
  • The candidate should have practical, hands-on experience in implementing and managing cyber security tools such as SIEM, EDR/XDR (Endpoint Detection and Response/Extended Detection and Response) & NDR.
  • Proficiency in configuring, deploying, and optimizing the tools to enhance organizational security posture is essential.


Skills and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity project management or engineering.
  • Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, encryption, and incident response.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, or similar.
  • Experience with vulnerability management and penetration testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
