Objective Of This RoleObjective Of This Role Background about IT EOC:
G+D’s IT Enterprise Operations Center (EOC) is the global delivery and support operations center for G+D groups’ global locations and subsidiaries. EOC manages the IT Infrastructure (Server /Datacenter, collaboration and Messaging, Network LAN/ WAN / Wi-Fi and Firewall security) and Enterprise IT Applications (predominantly SAP portfolio) along with Mobile Applications Platforms as well. The center is also accountable for delivering high value and high visibility IT projects & programs across various IT domains. As IT Specialist - Linux , you have to provide high-level technical expertise in the area of Linux Systems administration and troubleshooting. This individual would be responsible for implementing & enabling IT strategies defined by senior management in order to achieve the organizational objectives. Further, this individual would be responsible to ensure that the established processes to meet the regulatory and G&D corporate security requirements are respected and optimized, in a fast paced and critical environment. You need to develop the strategy and ensure the operation, integration into the infrastructure services and interact with the business to ensure a maximum of usability. University Degree and Certifications in the technology related field. RedHat Certified Engineer or RedHat Certified System Administrator (Preferred)ITIL Certification Technical know-how: Should have technical knowledge on following:
RedHat Enterprise Linux 7.x,8.x,9.x RedHat Satellite Ansible, RedHat Automation Platform Git Basic knowledge of typical Infrastructure components like Palo Alto firewalls, FortiGate VPNs, NetApp Storage, Servers and storage Jenkins, OpenShift, Containers (Desirable)Soft Skills:
Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times. Team orientation, strong communication skills, commitment and flexibility Independent, careful and result-oriented way of working Utilize sound judgment in dealing with business information.
