The core engineering of Awiros includes real-time deep-learning-based video/image inference, distributed processing, high-throughput data handling, and state-of-the-art tools/frameworks like Deep Learning, Computer Vision, TensorFlow, Kubernetes, Kafka, and Elastic Search. Our mission is to bring the power of Computer Vision to everyone; right from developers to the end users. Awiros is the conduit to bring the most cutting-edge research in the areas of Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and Artificial Intelligence to the market.

Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage the company's network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.

- Maintain and troubleshoot office internet connections to ensure uninterrupted connectivity for all employees.

- Configure and manage firewalls to protect the company's data and network from unauthorized access.

- Set up and maintain VPN connections to ensure secure remote access for employees.

- Oversee the distribution and maintenance of IT assets, including computers, printers, and other peripherals.

- Ensure all workstations are up-to-date with the latest software and security patches.

- Coordinate with external partners to receive, configure, and integrate hardware into the company's IT environment.

- Utilize advanced knowledge of Linux to manage servers and support various IT functions.

- Maintain the web environment by identifying system requirements, installing upgrades, and monitoring system performance.

- Establish web system specifications by analyzing access, information, and security requirements, and design system infrastructure.

- Set up the web system by planning and executing the selection, installation, and configuration; testing of server hardware, software, and operating and system management systems; and defining system and operational policies and procedures.

- Secure the web system by developing system access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; establish and test disaster recovery policies and procedures; complete backups; and maintain documentation.

- Update job knowledge by tracking emerging internet technologies, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.

- Accomplish organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

Education and other requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or engineering.

- Minimum of 4-5 years of proven experience in IT administration or a related field.

- Experience with Java GUI front-end development, SQL, Postgres, or equivalent database tools.

- Experience with Agile software development using JIRA.

- Proficiency in Linux is a must

- Strong understanding of networking principles and practices.

- Experience with firewall configuration and management.

- Knowledge of VPN setup and maintenance.

- Experience in multiple OS platforms with a strong emphasis on Linux (CentOS, Red Hat, Ubuntu), Mac OS X, and Windows systems.

- Experience with OS-level scripting environments such as Bourne shell.

- Experience working in a research environment relying extensively on Open Source solutions.

- In-depth knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol suite, security architecture, securing and hardening Operating Systems, Networks, Databases, and Applications.

- Knowledge of the Incident Response life-cycle.

- Thorough understanding of the threat and attack landscape, attack vectors, vulnerabilities, and how they are leveraged by malicious actors.
