What are we looking for you to do?
· Conduct regular one-on-one meetings (1:1's) with team members, providing mentorship, feedback, and support to enhance individual performance and growth.
· Define and execute a comprehensive team development plan, including prioritizing work, managing team capacity, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
· Create and update documentation based on agreed baselines, collaborate effectively with Solution Architects, QA teams, Product Managers, and IT Project Managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
· Ensure compliance with Change Management (CM) ticket processes, manage card assignments under the tech team, conduct code reviews, and establish a feedback loop for continuous improvement.
· Lead the Product Development Engineering (PDE) team by developing and prioritizing the backlog, overseeing sprint governance, ensuring sprint quality, managing sprint requirements, and obtaining approvals for requirements and solutions.
· Conduct retrospectives for incidents related to DevOps activities, align with policies during the release process, and drive continuous improvement and alignment with industry best practices.
What are we looking for in the successful candidate?
l Ideally 5+ years’ experience in the development background preferably on the lead role.
l Ability to discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximise the development efficiency.
l Excellent communication skills: verbal and written
l A one to two-year experience in using project management tools like Jira/AzureDevOps/Trello.
l An expert understanding of software development lifecycle.
l Excellent analytical skills and a keen to be on the top of latest tech.
l Have good understanding and experience on automating the pipelines; from development to release.
l Have good skills on people management. (PIP, PDP, etc…)
l Can plan and execute the people plan effectively.
