Key Responsibilities:

  • Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers. Pitch story ideas, manage press releases, and respond to media inquiries.
  • Content Creation: Develop engaging content, including press releases, blog posts, speeches, and social media posts, that aligns with our brand voice and messaging.
  • Event Management: Plan and execute press events, media briefings, and other PR activities. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Crisis Communication: Act as the frontline defense in managing communication during crises. Develop and implement strategies to address negative publicity and protect the company’s reputation.
  • Brand Advocacy: Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring that all communication—internal and external—is consistent with our brand values and objectives.
  • Measurement & Reporting: Track media coverage, analyze PR campaign performance, and report on key metrics. Use insights to refine and improve PR strategies.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in PR, media relations, or corporate communications.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong media relations and networking abilities.
  • Proficient in using PR and media monitoring tools.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling.
