Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Marketing Leadership:
Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the college’s mission and goals.
Conduct market research to understand trends in higher education, identify target audiences, and refine marketing strategies accordingly.
Monitor competitive activity and adjust marketing strategies to ensure the college remains competitive.
- Brand Management:
Oversee the development and execution of brand positioning strategies to ensure a consistent and compelling brand image across all touchpoints.
Protect and enhance the college's brand reputation through strategic messaging and effective communication channels.
- Digital & Traditional Marketing:
Lead the digital marketing efforts, including the management of the college’s website, social media presence, email marketing campaigns, and online advertising.
Oversee traditional marketing efforts such as print advertising, direct mail campaigns, and outdoor advertising.
Analyze and report on the effectiveness of all marketing campaigns, using data-driven insights to optimize performance.
- Public Relations & Communications:
Serve as the primary spokesperson for the college’s marketing initiatives, cultivating relationships with media, community leaders, and influencers.
Oversee the creation and dissemination of press releases, newsletters, and other communications that promote the college’s achievements and initiatives.
Develop crisis communication plans and manage responses to potential PR challenges.
- Content Strategy & Development:
Lead the creation of high-quality content that tells the college’s story and highlights its programs, faculty, students, and alumni.
Oversee the production of marketing collateral, including brochures, videos, and promotional materials.
- Event Marketing & Management:
Collaborate with other departments to plan and promote college events such as open houses, alumni gatherings, and fundraising events.
Ensure marketing support for key events, including advertising, invitations, and post-event follow-up.
- Budget & Resource Management:
Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and effectively.
Track and report on marketing expenditures and return on investment (ROI).
- Leadership & Team Development:
Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Work closely with the admissions, alumni relations, and fundraising teams to align marketing strategies with institutional goals.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience
Proven success in developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that drive enrollment and brand awareness.
Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, analytics, and emerging trends in the education sector.
Exceptional leadership skills with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
