The ideal candidate will lead the optimisation of company performance through enhancing in-store experiences and achieving key performance indicators. They will focus on team development, incorporating business trends, and integrating customer feedback into employee training. Additionally, they will oversee all aspects of accounting, taxation, and finance, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with statutory regulations.

Responsibilities:


Financial Taxation

  • Monthly closing of Books of Accounts
  • Scrutiny of monthly Trial Balance & GL Accounts
  • Providing MIS data
  • Maintains Statutory Compliance's relating to Direct & Indirect Taxes.


Customer

  • Coordinate with other departments and plants to collect the requisite information to provide to the management or reporting manager.
  • Handle the auditor’s query.
  • Resolving all the queries related to Finance and Accounts & Taxation.


Process

  • Assistance related to taxes at the time of Making Purchase Order. Aspects of system – financial software – requisition, PO, MRN, accounting & taxation point of view.
  • Assistance related to taxes at the time of Making Sales Invoices.
  • Aspects of Order Management.
  • Providing manpower and overhead cost details on monthly basis.
  • Providing details regarding stock in hand, consumption on monthly basis
  • Valuation of WIP and FG stock by collecting data from plants on monthly basis.
  • Calculation statutory liabilities i.e. GST, TDS, TCS, or any other taxes and deposition on time.
  • Timely filling of statutory returns.
  • Maintaining GST-ITC and reconciling them with books of accounts and GST Portal on monthly basis.
  • Checking that inter-company entries passed in Bengaluru unit and other locations. Inter-company account reconciliation.
  • Preparing budgets related to Overheads.
  • Verification of Physical Inventory 100% on yearly basis. Plan on monthly basis through ABC analysis.


Learning & Development

  • Share the latest updates in Accounts and Taxation field with the accounts team


Govt. Department

  • Liasning with Govt. Departments.(MCF & Taxation Authorities on time to time basis).


Qualifications

  • B. Com + M.B.A./ Chartered Accountant
  • 3+ years' of retail or equivalent management experience
  • Strong verbal or written communication skills
