Job Title: General Manager, Business Development (Commercial)
Client: One of India's leading Services & Infrastructure Conglomerates with interests in retail, aviation, urban infrastructure, services business etc
Reports To: CEO
Salary Budget: 30 to 42 LPA
Position Summary:
To provide aviation business development support to commercial function for achieving revenue targets & delivering the business objectives as per the stakeholder expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare overall business strategy as per Business plan & Timelines for aviation business
- On-board JV partners for handling various business functions (Cargo, Baggage Ground Handing etc.)
- Support JV partners in Planning, Design, Execution and Development of assets
- Operationalizing the Assets As per Business plan & Timelines On-board targeted Freight, Airlines / Charter Operators
- To enhance the cargo business at terminals
- Explore, Develop, and implement new infrastructure developments, monetization of land
- Drive new areas of business development to enhance the potential revenue
- Responsible for achieving the revenue target
- Compliance to obligations of regulatory authorities
- Stakeholder Management
External Interactions:
- Various Govt. Regulatory Authorities and Trade Bodies.
Internal Interactions:
▪ All Functional & Operational heads of departments
Dimensions
Financial Dimensions
▪ Experience in handling Annual Operating Plan (AOP) of about 300+ Crores
Educational Qualification
▪ B.E and/or MBA from a reputed institute.
Required Experience
- 15+ years of total experience with knowledge of commercial operations, financial modeling, & license agreements.
- Experience in aviation sector would be an added advantage.
- Min. 5+ years of experience in a managerial capacity in the commercial department of airline or airport
