As a Travel Desk Executive / Travel Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating travel arrangements for clients. You will provide expert travel consulting services, ensuring seamless and enjoyable travel experiences. Your responsibilities will include managing travel itineraries, organizing tours and events, and maintaining effective communication with clients and vendors.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel Planning and Coordination:
  • Design and manage comprehensive travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, transfers, and activities.
  • Organize and coordinate tours, events, and group travel arrangements.
  • Customer Service and Consulting:
  • Provide personalized travel consulting services, offering expert advice and recommendations to clients.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Vendor Management:
  • Liaise with travel vendors, such as airlines, hotels, and tour operators, to secure the best rates and services.
  • Negotiate terms and manage contracts with vendors to enhance service quality and cost-efficiency.
  • Documentation and Booking:
  • Handle all booking processes, ensuring accuracy and timely confirmation of reservations.
  • Prepare and maintain travel documentation, including itineraries, travel advisories, and booking confirmations.
  • Client Communication:
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to update them on travel arrangements and provide travel advice.
  • Assist clients with travel-related issues, such as itinerary changes, cancellations, and emergencies.
  • Administrative Support:
  • Keep detailed records of travel bookings, client interactions, and vendor communications.
  • Utilize travel management software and CRM systems to streamline booking processes and track client preferences.


Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's degree in Travel and Tourism Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of global travel destinations, travel regulations, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in using travel management software and CRM systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Personal Attributes:
  • Proactive and detail-oriented, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and client needs.
