Job Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Model and develop the simulation for complex systems/processes such as logistics operations, production lines and manufacturing processes using Tecnomatix Plant Simulation software.
- Define model requirements, objectives and constraints based on stakeholder input and system specifications.
- Analyze and optimize the performance of existing and planned manufacturing/logistics facilities, identifying opportunities for system improvement and optimization based on simulation results.
- Generate detailed reports, visualizations and recommendations to communicate simulation results to the stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations and management to ensure accurate data input and alignment with business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial or related field).
- 3-5 years of experience with Tecnomatix Plant Simulation software
- Expertise in Simtalk Programming language and able to debug/understand complex logics in the simulation model.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data.
- Familiarity with logistics operations, manufacturing processes and production planning principles.
