Are you passionate about empowering adolescent girls and creating lasting community impact? Youngistaan Foundation is looking for a Program Manager to lead an initiative addressing gender equality, menstrual health, safety, mobility, education and more for adolescents in urban slums.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mobilize and train adolescent groups, fostering leadership and life skills.
- Collaborate with community leaders, parents, and peers to promote a supportive environment.
- Drive higher education and retention efforts for adolectents.
- Design and maintain program monitoring systems, analyze progress, and report outcomes.
- Coordinate volunteers, ensuring effective engagement and capacity building.
- Support cross-functional organizational tasks, events, and campaigns.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in program management within urban slum settings/peri-urban communities.
- Strong skills in community mobilization and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in data management systems (MIS/KMS) and report writing.
- Ability to lead teams and coordinate with diverse stakeholders (both public and private)
- Knowledge of adolescent health, education, livelihood generation, and gender issues is essential

The ideal candidate will be comfortable outlining and planning all aspects of work related to a given project such as budget, timelines and teams. They will have strong communication skills that enable them to effectively communicate with all relevant teams. This individual should be able to foresee any problems related to the completion of a project and act in a timely manner to mitigate any issues.
