Position Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Accounts Manager to support our accounting and finance functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in financial analysis and reporting.


Key Responsibilities:

1.   Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoice verification, payment processing, and collections.

2.   Prepare and maintain financial records, such as ledgers, journals, and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

3.   Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets under the guidance of the Accounts Manager or Finance Director.

4.   Conduct periodic reviews of expense reports, petty cash transactions, and credit card reconciliations to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

5.   Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.

6.   Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and reconciliations as required.

7.   Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, operations, and procurement, to resolve accounting-related issues and improve processes.

8.   Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations, standards, and industry best practices, and implement necessary adjustments.

9.   Provide administrative support to the finance department, such as filing, data entry, and maintaining financial records and documents.

10. Contribute to special projects and initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing financial performance.


Qualifications:

·        Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

·        Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

·        Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.

·        Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.

·        Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

·        Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

·        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.

·        High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.


Location: Gurgaon

Salary: 5-6 lacs per annum
