Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Finance/Accounts Manager to oversee our financial operations and ensure the efficient management of our company's finances. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, as well as managing day-to-day accounting activities. The Finance/Accounts Manager will play a critical role in providing strategic financial guidance to senior management and driving the company's financial performance and growth.


Key Responsibilities:


Financial Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Analyze financial data and performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making purposes.
  • Monitor and report on key financial indicators and variances, highlighting areas of concern or improvement.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Develop and maintain the company's annual budget and forecasts in collaboration with department heads and senior management.
  • Track actual financial performance against budgeted targets and provide variance analysis and explanations.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue optimization to support the company's financial goals.

Financial Planning and Strategy:

  • Assist senior management in developing long-term financial plans and strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives to support the company's growth objectives.
  • Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to assess potential risks and opportunities.

Cash Flow Management:

  • Manage cash flow forecasting and optimization to ensure adequate liquidity for day-to-day operations and strategic investments.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable to optimize working capital and minimize financing costs.
  • Implement effective cash management policies and procedures to mitigate financial risks.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate financial audits and reviews, liaising with external auditors and regulatory authorities as necessary.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks through appropriate controls and risk management practices.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor/ Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CA, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance or accounting roles
  • Proven track record of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis in a corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and trends to support decision-making.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zohobooks etc).
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to think critically and provide insights to drive business performance and growth.
