Job Description:


We are seeking an experienced Sr Executive Denim Designer who is a true expert in denim design with a minimum of 2 years of experience in retail. In this pivotal role, designer will lead the creative development of our denim collections for both men's and women's lines, driving innovation and setting trends in the industry.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design Innovation: Conceptualize and design cutting-edge denim styles that resonate with target audiences while reflecting current fashion trends.
  • Expert Knowledge: Leverage your deep expertise in denim fabrications, washes, and finishes to create distinctive and high-quality products.
  • Technical Proficiency: Develop detailed technical sketches and specifications, ensuring that designs are production-ready and meet quality standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with merchandising, production, and marketing teams to align on design vision and ensure successful product launches.
  • Trend Forecasting: Conduct thorough market research and trend analysis to anticipate consumer preferences and drive design strategy.
  • Sustainability Focus: Integrate sustainable practices into the design process, sourcing eco-friendly materials and promoting ethical production methods.
  • Mentorship and Leadership: Provide guidance to junior designers and contribute to a creative and collaborative team environment.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience specializing in denim design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator; familiarity with 3D design software is a plus.
  • In-depth understanding of garment construction, denim production processes, and finishing techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present ideas effectively to stakeholders.


Preferred Skills: Knowledge of graphic design principles is highly desirable.

Experience with sustainable fashion initiatives and innovations in denim.
