What will you do?



Job Overview:**

Smartstaff is seeking a diligent and experienced Manager Compliance to lead our compliance team. The Manager Compliance will oversee a team of 3-4 executives and will be responsible for ensuring that all statutory requirements, including PF and ESI filings, are met on time. This role also involves conducting compliance audits for both the company and our clients, managing relationships with government authorities, and maintaining accurate wage records and personnel files. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in managing industrial compliance.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Statutory Compliance:**

- Ensure timely filing of Provident Fund (PF) and Employee State Insurance (ESI) contributions.

- Monitor and ensure adherence to all statutory compliance requirements.

2. **Compliance Audits:**

- Conduct regular compliance audits for the company and its clients.

- Identify and address any discrepancies or non-compliance issues.

3. **Government Relations:**

- Manage and maintain relationships with relevant government authorities.

- Represent the company during inspections and audits by government agencies.

4. **Record Keeping:**

- Ensure all wage records and personnel files are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with statutory requirements.

- Implement and maintain effective record-keeping systems.

5. **Team Management:**

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 3-4 compliance executives.

- Assign tasks, set objectives, and monitor team performance.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Human Resources, or a related field.

- Minimum of [Specify Years] years of experience in a compliance management role, with a preference for experience in managing industrial compliance.

- In-depth knowledge of statutory compliance requirements, including PF and ESI regulations.

- Proven experience in conducting compliance audits and managing government relationships.

- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Master's degree in Business Administration, Law, Human Resources, or a related field.

- Certification in Compliance Management or a related area.

- Experience working in the industrial sector or managing industrial compliance.
