Job Overview


The Store Sales Agent will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, achieving sales targets, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for all customers. This role involves assisting customers with their purchases, maintaining store cleanliness and organization, and supporting the overall operations of the store. The store is located in VR Mall, Anna Nagar. The candidate will be required to go through a training program at our office in Adyar for 2 weeks.


Responsibilities


• Customer Service

  • Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs.
  • Provide accurate information about products and services.
  • Assist customers in making purchasing decisions and answer their questions.
  • Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions.


• Sales

  • Achieve individual and store sales targets.
  • Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
  • Participate in promotional activities and special sales events.


• Store Maintenance

  • Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
  • Arrange merchandise displays to attract customers.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report low stock to management.
  • Assist in receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock.


• Team Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions.
  • Support other team members as needed.


Qualifications


  • Education - High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience - Previous retail sales experience

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math's skills for handling transactions.
  • Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills.

Personal Attributes:

  • Friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Customer-focused attitude.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise up to 30 lbs.
